New State of Mine was the theme that drove topics of discussion at the latest CIM 2017 Convention held in Montreal from April 30 to May 3, 2017. Mining was examined through the lens of safety, innovation, employment, leadership and much more, as well as a strong technical program. More than 5,000 mining industry professionals were expected to take in the events at the Palais des Congrès de Montréal.
